Dumpster rentals in Kitchener

A work permit is required from the City of Kitchener before occupying any part of a road, sidewalk, or boulevard, including for a placed dumpster. Apply through the city's online portal at least 5 business days ahead for most of the city, or 10 business days ahead for downtown Kitchener, and include a certificate of insurance. Region of Waterloo bylaw bans tires and cardboard from both the Cambridge and Waterloo landfill sites, and electronic waste has been kept out of landfill and curbside collection since 2005. Grass clippings are also excluded from residential curbside pickup. Commercial and industrial hazardous waste isn't accepted at Region sites at all and needs a licensed handler.
