Apick

Apick is a family-owned waste management company and scrap metal dealer in Ajax, Ontario. Its website describes residential and commercial bin rentals in 14 and 20 yard sizes, along with a 6 cubic yard bin for clean dirt or clean concrete. The bins are listed as suitable for renovation, garage and construction cleanouts, and a wide range of materials is accepted, such as wood, drywall, shingles, furniture, yard waste and mattresses, with hazardous materials excluded. Bins have rollers to help protect driveways. Delivery is listed for Pickering, Ajax, Whitby and Oshawa, with a fuel surcharge for areas such as Scarborough, Bowmanville and Courtice. Apick also runs a scrap metal drop-off and offers on-site containers for businesses that recycle metal. Apick is rated 4.4 out of 5 from 36 Google reviews. Some customers describe the staff as friendly and helpful, and some mention quick, convenient bin delivery and easy metal drop-offs. A small number of customers described an interaction with a staff member as less pleasant, so it is worth confirming pricing and weights when booking or dropping off scrap. Hours are listed as 8 AM to 5 PM on weekdays and 8 AM to 12 PM on Saturday, closed Sunday. Phone: +1 905-426-5781. Website: http://www.apick.ca/
